The Common Application, commonly known as Common App, is a standardized undergraduate college admission application platform for universities in the United States. It offers students a common platform to apply to multiple colleges through a single form and a common essay. This platform serves only undergraduates and transfer students; it does not provide services for students applying for master's, PhD, or other higher studies. The Common App also offers various insights into colleges and universities, saving students the task of searching different college websites. Additionally, the Common App features filters to help students find the right college or university, such as financial aid, enrollment size, and campus setting. As a common platform, Common App also offers fee waivers for respective colleges based on their criteria. With the Common App, it becomes very easy to track applications just by glancing at the dashboard.
What does it Offer?

Students are expected to research eligibility and test requirements for individual colleges themselves. The deadline to apply to colleges through the Common App depends on the respective colleges and universities. A student can view various deadlines for multiple colleges on the dashboard.
Calendar

Applications for Early Action and Early Decision start in early November or December.
